FMSD 2025 Playoff Preview

As the fall regular season roles on we look toward the playoffs and what that means for teams across the district. Below you will find teams to watch out for as the fall regular season comes to an end.

MEN'S SWIMMING

State Championships were on Thursday October 9 through Saturday October 11 at USC Natatorium – Blatt Pool.

Fort Mill finished second overall with 452.5 total points.

Nation Ford finished fourth overall with 266.5 total points.

Catawba Ridge finished ninth overall with 127 total points.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING

State Championships were on Thursday October 9 through Saturday October 11 at USC Natatorium – Blatt Pool.

Fort Mill finished second overall with 495.5 total points going for what would have been their fourth championship.

Nation Ford finished third overall with 289 total points.

Catawba Ridge finished fifth overall with 262 total points.

WOMEN'S GOLF

State Championships were held on Monday October 27 and Tuesday October 28.

Catawba Ridge finished sixth overall at states with an overall score of 682.

Fort Mill finished at states with an overall score of 391.

Nation Ford finished tenth overall at states with an overall score of 750.

VOLLEYBALL

Men’s Volleyball

State Championships were held on Saturday November 1 at AC Flora High School.

Catawba Ridge finished second after making it to the championship round falling to Socastee 3 sets to 1.

Nation Ford made it to round 1 falling to Indian Land 3 sets to 0.

Women’s Volleyball

State Championships were held on Thursday, November 6 and Saturday, November 8 at Dreher High School.

Catawba Ridge made it to round 2 falling to Hillcrest 3 sets to 2.

Fort Mill made it to round 1 falling to Easley 3 sets to 1.

Nation Ford made it to the semi-final round falling to Woodmont 3 sets to 2.

WOMEN'S TENNIS

Teams

State Championships were held on Saturday, November 8 at Cayce Tennis Center.

Individual

State Championships were held on Monday, November 10 and Tuesday November 11 at Lexington County Tennis Complex.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

State championships were held on Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 at Aiken Steeplechase.

State championships were held on Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 at Aiken Steeplechase.

CHEERLEADING

State championships were held on Saturday, November 22 at Colonial Life Area in Columbia.

Catawba Ridge finished as the runner-up with an overall score of 309 to first place Chapin’s 334.

Fort Mill finished 5th with an overall score of 257.5.

Nation Ford finished 11th with an overall score of 234.
