Heart of A Champion Day: Free Sports Physicals

Atrium Health will host Heart of a Champion Day on Saturday, May 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte.

This event provides a free high school sports physical for student-athletes entering grades 9 through 12 and includes an EKG heart screening at no cost. In addition to the required sports physical, students will receive an EKG, orthopedic screening, vision exam, wellness screenings, and hands-only CPR training.

This is a valuable opportunity to complete next year’s athletic physical early and at no cost to families.

If your child plans to participate in athletics during the 2026–27 school year, I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.
